Bill of Materials Disassembly

Bill of Materials (BOM) Disassembly reverses the production process, breaking down completed BOM items back into components. Disassembling BOM items reduces the quantity of the finished item and increases the quantity of the components in inventory.

  • Indicate the bill (item) to be disassembled. The ScanForce mobile program then prompts the user for the components and quantities to be reclaimed.
  • Display the appropriate quantity for each component from the bill in Sage.
  • Reduce the finished item in inventory and add the components back in. The user can select the appropriate item bins in a multi-bin environment.
