Bill of Materials Final Yield Quantity

Certain production environments, such as food & beverage and chemicals, can yield a different final quantity than is expected based on a Bill of Material (BOM). You may use the same components and quantities with each run, but humidity, spillage, scrap, and other factors can change the outcome. Improve accuracy and efficiency by capturing actual components and quantities used, as well as the actual final quantity produced prior to entering data into Sage.
  • Enter the quantity you wish to produce in ScanForce, and the components and quantities needed will be shown in a list.
  • Enter each component from the bill and the actual quantity used, including lot numbers.
  • Upon sending the data to Sage, ScanForce will prompt you for the ‘final yield quantity.’
