What’s New in Sage 100 2026
This year’s release includes several enhancements that are especially relevant for warehouse operations, inventory tracking, and overall usability.
Expanded Lot and Serial Number Field
A long-requested improvement, Sage 100 now supports lot and serial numbers up to 50 characters. This eliminates the need for customizations many companies previously relied on.
Lot Code Source Tracking
Sage 100 2026 introduces the ability to track lot code source and country of origin, helping businesses comply with FDA Food Traceability List (FTL) requirements under the Food Safety Modernization Act.
Expanded Price Level Flexibility
The Price Level field has been expanded from 1 character to 15 characters, giving organizations more flexibility in managing pricing structures.
Longer Package Tracking Numbers
To better align with modern carriers, the tracking number field has been expanded from 30 to 40 characters, supporting longer shipping identifiers.
Global Search Across Sage 100
A new Global Search feature allows users to quickly find records across modules, improving speed and efficiency when working inside Sage.
AI-Powered Help Agent
Sage has introduced a new AI-driven Help Agent that provides quick answers and guidance directly within the application.
